Peer-to-Peer File-Sharing Networks: Security Risks

The rise and evolution of these networks is discussed, along with some of the reasons for their popularity. Then the security implications, to usersÂ’ computers, networks, and information, are examined. The status of P2P networks in business is discussed. A summary of the current state of the security risks of this technology is presented.
